CHRIS CORNELL Performs JOHN LENNON's 'Imagine' On 'Conan O'Brien'

September 12, 2009

Former SOUNDGARDEN and AUDIOSLAVE singer Chris Cornell performed John Lennon's iconic song "Imagine" on last night's (Friday, September 11) edition of "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" on NBC-TV. Watch video footage of his appearance below.

Cornell cancelled his previously announced September 12 performance at the Sunset Strip Music Festival in Los Angeles due to "band scheduling conflicts."

Cornell has been touring in support of his 2008 Timbaland-produced solo album, "Scream", which has bitterly divided fans over its urban pop sound.

Starting in October and running through the holidays, the entire Virgin America airline fleet will feature Cornell on all in-flight programming. His latest LP, "Scream", has been added to the airline's music library and will be a part of a collection that plays during boarding. Beginning in November, passengers will also be able to select various Cornell music videos and albums throughout their flight.
